When you are in Singapore to explore the city, it is customary to go to Gardens By The Bay in addition to other well-known attractions like Singapore Zoo.
But, there is one more great thing to experience in Gardens By The Bay. It is to dine in a restaurant by name “SuperTree by Indochine” that’s located at the top of one of the tree structures.
Can you see the glass shield structure at the top? That’s SuperTree.
Just follow the sign boards in the Garden to reach the restaurant. After paying an entry fee (gulp! yes there is one) to the rooftop restaurant, step into the lift that will directly take you to the 16th floor where restaurant is located.
The restaurant opens at 12 pm and closes at 12 am. If you want semi-private dining, goto the restaurant by 12 to 12.30 pm as there will be less people.
The major thing that puts people off is the entry fee to the restaurant. How many of us pay a fee to enter a restaurant? But, it is worth paying for SuperTree. We will tell you why.
The restaurant offers a sort of luxury dining experience. Food is expensive here, but the quality is good. The main reason to experience SuperTree is it’s VIEW. The view it offers is worth paying the few extra dollars. You get a direct view of Marina Bay Sands from the restaurant.
Minty Tip Goto the 17th floor – yes, there is a floor above the restaurant. It is meant only for night parties. But the restaurant would not stop one from going there.
One can experience a 360 degree view of Singapore from 17th floor. For photographers, the view offers a feast to shoot skyscrapers, waterbody, city roads, and more.
We went to SuperTree for lunch. After going there we realised that the night view from the 17th floor would be even better.
Following are few photos taken from the 17th floor of SuperTree to give you an idea.
